Introduction to Manzil Dua (Manzil Sharif)

Surah Al-Fatihah (chapter 1): verses 1 to 7
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَۙ (1) الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِۙ (2) مٰلِكِ یَوْمِ الدِّیْنِﭤ(3) اِیَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَ اِیَّاكَ نَسْتَعِیْنُﭤ(4) اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِیْمَۙ (5) صِرَاطَ الَّذِیْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ ﴰ غَیْرِ الْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَیْهِمْ وَ لَا الضَّآلِّیْنَ۠ (7)
سب تعریفیں اللہ کے لئے ہیں جو تمام جہان والوں کاپالنے والا ہے۔ بہت مہربان رحمت والا۔ جزا کے دن کامالک۔ ہم تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور تجھ ہی سے مدد چاہتے ہیں۔ ہمیں سیدھے راستے پر چلا۔ ان لوگوں کا راستہ جن پر تو نے احسان کیا نہ کہ ان کا راستہ جن پر غضب ہوا اور نہ بہکے ہوؤں کا۔
Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; Most Gracious, Most Merciful; Master of the Day of Judgment. Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. Show us the straight way, the way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.

Surah Al-Bakarah (chapter 2): verses 1 to 5
الٓمّٓۚ (1) ذٰلِكَ الْكِتٰبُ لَا رَیْبَ ﶈ فِیْهِ ۚۛ-هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِیْنَۙ (2) الَّذِیْنَ یُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْغَیْبِ وَ یُقِیْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَ مِمَّا رَزَقْنٰهُمْ یُنْفِقُوْنَۙ (3) وَ الَّذِیْنَ یُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِمَاۤ اُنْزِلَ اِلَیْكَ وَ مَاۤ اُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَۚ-وَ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ هُمْ یُوْقِنُوْنَﭤ (4) اُولٰٓىٕكَ عَلٰى هُدًى مِّنْ رَّبِّهِمْۗ-وَ اُولٰٓىٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ(5)
الم۔ وہ بلند رتبہ کتاب جس میں کسی شک کی گنجائش نہیں ۔اس میں ڈرنے والوں کے لئے ہدایت ہے۔ وہ لوگ جو بغیر دیکھے ایمان لاتے ہیں اور نماز قائم کرتے ہیں اور ہمارے دئیے ہوئے رزق میں سے کچھ(ہماری راہ میں ) خرچ کرتے ہیں۔ اور وہ ایمان لاتے ہیں اس پر جو تمہاری طرف نازل کیا اور جو تم سے پہلے نازل کیا گیا اور وہ آخرت پر یقین رکھتے ہیں ۔ یہی لوگ اپنے رب کی طرف سے ہدایت پر ہیں اوریہی لوگ کامیابی حاصل کرنے والے ہیں ۔
Surah Al-Bakarah (chapter 2): verses 163
وَ اِلٰهُكُمْ اِلٰهٌ وَّاحِدٌۚ-لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمٰنُ الرَّحِیْمُ۠ (163)
اور تمہارا معبود ایک معبود ہے اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ، بڑی رحمت والا، مہربان ہے۔
Surah Al-Bakarah (chapter 2): verses 255 to 257
اَللّٰهُ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ-اَلْحَیُّ الْقَیُّوْمُ ﳛ لَا تَاْخُذُهٗ سِنَةٌ وَّ لَا نَوْمٌؕ-لَهٗ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ مَا فِی الْاَرْضِؕ-مَنْ ذَا الَّذِیْ یَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهٗۤ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِهٖؕ-یَعْلَمُ مَا بَیْنَ اَیْدِیْهِمْ وَ مَا خَلْفَهُمْۚ-وَ لَا یُحِیْطُوْنَ بِشَیْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهٖۤ اِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَۚ-وَسِعَ كُرْسِیُّهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضَۚ-وَ لَا یَـٴُـوْدُهٗ حِفْظُهُمَاۚ-وَ هُوَ الْعَلِیُّ الْعَظِیْمُ(255) لَاۤ اِكْرَاهَ فِی الدِّیْنِ ﳜ قَدْ تَّبَیَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَیِّۚ-فَمَنْ یَّكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوْتِ وَ یُؤْمِنْۢ بِاللّٰهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقٰىۗ-لَا انْفِصَامَ لَهَاؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ سَمِیْعٌ عَلِیْمٌ(256) اَللّٰهُ وَلِیُّ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْاۙ-یُخْرِجُهُمْ مِّنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَى النُّوْرِ۬ؕ-وَ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْۤا اَوْلِیٰٓـٴُـھُمُ الطَّاغُوْتُۙ- یُخْرِجُوْنَهُمْ مِّنَ النُّوْرِ اِلَى الظُّلُمٰتِؕ-اُولٰٓىٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ النَّارِۚ-هُمْ فِیْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ۠ (257)
اللہ وہ ہے جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ خود زندہ ہے ، دوسروں کو قائم رکھنے والاہے، اسے نہ اونگھ آتی ہے اور نہ نیند ، جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں سب اسی کا ہے ۔ کون ہے جو اس کے ہاں اس کی اجازت کے بغیرسفارش کرے؟ وہ جانتا ہے جو کچھ ان کے آگے ہے اور جو کچھ ان کے پیچھے ہے اور لوگ اس کے علم میں سے اتنا ہی حاصل کر سکتے ہیں جتنا وہ چاہے، اس کی کرسی آسمان اور زمین کو اپنی وسعت میں لئے ہوئے ہے اور ان کی حفاظت اسے تھکانہیں سکتی اور وہی بلند شان والا،عظمت والاہے۔ دین میں کوئی زبردستی نہیں، بیشک ہدایت کی راہ گمراہی سے خوب جدا ہوگئی ہے تو جو شیطان کو نہ مانے اور اللہ پر ایمان لائے اس نے بڑا مضبوط سہارا تھام لیا جس سہارے کو کبھی کھلنا نہیں اوراللہ سننے والا، جاننے والاہے۔ اللہ مسلمانوں کا والی ہے انہیں اندھیروں سے نور کی طرف نکالتا ہے اور جو کافر ہیں ان کے حمایتی شیطان ہیں وہ انہیں نور سے اندھیروں کی طرف نکالتے ہیں ۔ یہی لوگ دوزخ والے ہیں ،یہ ہمیشہ اس میں رہیں گے۔
255 – 257. Allah. there is no god but He,-the living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. no slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things In the heavens and on earth. who is there can intercede In His presence except As He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. nor shall They compass aught of His knowledge except As He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue In guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory). 256. let there be no compulsion In religion: truth stands out Clear from error: Whoever rejects evil and believes In Allah hath grasped the Most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. and Allah heareth and knoweth all things. Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into Page 3 of 9 light. of those who reject Faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light They will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (for ever).
Surah Al-Bakarah (chapter 2): verses 284 to 286
لِلّٰهِ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ مَا فِی الْاَرْضِؕ-وَ اِنْ تُبْدُوْا مَا فِیْۤ اَنْفُسِكُمْ اَوْ تُخْفُوْهُ یُحَاسِبْكُمْ بِهِ اللّٰهُؕ-فَیَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ یَّشَآءُ وَ یُعَذِّبُ مَنْ یَّشَآءُؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ(284) اٰمَنَ الرَّسُوْلُ بِمَاۤ اُنْزِلَ اِلَیْهِ مِنْ رَّبِّهٖ وَ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَؕ-كُلٌّ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَ مَلٰٓىٕكَتِهٖ وَ كُتُبِهٖ وَ رُسُلِهٖ۫-لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَیْنَ اَحَدٍ مِّنْ رُّسُلِهٖ۫-وَ قَالُوْا سَمِعْنَا وَ اَطَعْنَا ﱪ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَ اِلَیْكَ الْمَصِیْرُ(285) لَا یُكَلِّفُ اللّٰهُ نَفْسًا اِلَّا وُسْعَهَاؕ-لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَ عَلَیْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْؕ-رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَاۤ اِنْ نَّسِیْنَاۤ اَوْ اَخْطَاْنَاۚ-رَبَّنَا وَ لَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَیْنَاۤ اِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهٗ عَلَى الَّذِیْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَاۚ-رَبَّنَا وَ لَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهٖۚ-وَ اعْفُ عَنَّاٙ-وَ اغْفِرْ لَنَاٙ-وَ ارْحَمْنَاٙ-اَنْتَ مَوْلٰىنَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكٰفِرِیْنَ۠ (286)
جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے سب اللہ ہی کا ہے اور جو کچھ تمہارے دل میں ہے اگر تم اسے ظاہر کرو یا چھپاؤ، اللہ تم سے اس کا حساب لے گا تو جسے چاہے گا بخش دے گا اور جسے چاہے گا سزادے گا اور اللہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔ رسول اس پر ایمان لایا جو اس کے رب کی طرف سے اس کی طرف نازل کیا گیا اور مسلمان بھی۔ سب اللہ پراور اس کے فرشتوں اور اس کی کتابوں اور اس کے رسولوں پر یہ کہتے ہوئے ایمان لائے کہ ہم اس کے کسی رسول پر ایمان لانے میں فرق نہیں کرتے اورانہوں نے عرض کی: اے ہمارے رب!ہم نے سنا اور مانا، (ہم پر) تیری معافی ہو اور تیری ہی طرف پھرنا ہے۔ اللہ کسی جان پر اس کی طاقت کے برابر ہی بوجھ ڈالتا ہے ۔ کسی جان نے جو اچھاکمایا وہ اسی کیلئے ہے اور کسی جان نے جو برا کمایا اس کا وبال اسی پر ہے۔ اے ہمارے رب! اگر ہم بھولیں یا خطا کریں تو ہماری گرفت نہ فرما ،اے ہمارے رب! اور ہم پر بھاری بوجھ نہ رکھ جیسا تو نے ہم سے پہلے لوگوں پر رکھا تھا، اے ہمارے رب!اور ہم پر وہ بوجھ نہ ڈال جس کی ہمیں طاقت نہیں اور ہمیں معاف فرمادے اور ہمیں بخش دے اور ہم پر مہربانی فرما، تو ہمارا مالک ہے پس کافر قوم کے مقابلے میں ہماری مدد فرما۔
284 – 286. to Allah belongeth all that is In the heavens and on earth. whether ye Show what is In your minds or conceal it, Allah calleth you to account for it. He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and punisheth whom He pleaseth, for Allah hath power over all things. the Messenger believeth In what hath been revealed to Him from His Lord, As do the men of Faith. Each one (of them) believeth In Allah, His angels, His books, and His apostles. “We make no distinction (They say) between one and another of His apostles.” and They say: “We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, Our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys.” on no soul doth Allah place a burden greater than it can bear. it gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) “Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which Thou Didst Lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out Our sins, and grant us Forgiveness. have Mercy on us. Thou art Our Protector; help us against those who stand against faith.”
Surah Al-Imran (chapter 3): verses 18
شَهِدَ اللّٰهُ اَنَّهٗ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۙ-وَ الْمَلٰٓىٕكَةُ وَ اُولُوا الْعِلْمِ قَآىٕمًۢا بِالْقِسْطِؕ-لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الْحَكِیْمُٜ ؕ (18)
اور اللہ نے گواہی دی کہ اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور فرشتوں نے اور عالموں نے انصاف سے قائم ہوکر اس کے سوا کسی کی عبادت نہیں عزت والا حکمت والا۔
Surah Al-Imran (chapter 3): verses 26 and 27
قُلِ اللّٰهُمَّ مٰلِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِی الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَآءُ وَ تَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَآءُ٘-وَ تُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَآءُ وَ تُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَآءُؕ-بِیَدِكَ الْخَیْرُؕ-اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ(26) تُوْلِجُ الَّیْلَ فِی النَّهَارِ وَ تُوْلِجُ النَّهَارَ فِی الَّیْلِ٘-وَ تُخْرِ جُ الْحَیَّ مِنَ الْمَیِّتِ وَ تُخْرِ جُ الْمَیِّتَ مِنَ الْحَیِّ٘-وَ تَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشَآءُ بِغَیْرِ حِسَابٍ(27)
یوں عرض کرو، اے اللہ !مُلک کے مالک! تو جسے چاہتاہے سلطنت عطا فرماتا ہے اور جس سے چاہتا ہے چھین لیتا ہے اور توجسے چاہتا ہے عزت دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے ذلت دیتا ہے ،تمام بھلائی تیرے ہی ہاتھ میں ہے، بیشک تو ہر شے پر قدرت رکھنے والاہے۔ تو رات کا کچھ حصہ دن میں داخل کردیتا ہے اور دن کا کچھ حصہ رات میں داخل کردیتا ہے اور تو مردہ سے زندہ کونکالتا ہے اور زندہ سے مردہ کو نکالتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے بے شمار رزق عطا فرماتا ہے۔
Surah Al-A’araf (chapter 7): verses 54 to 56
اِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللّٰهُ الَّذِیْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضَ فِیْ سِتَّةِ اَیَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ۫-یُغْشِی الَّیْلَ النَّهَارَ یَطْلُبُهٗ حَثِیْثًاۙ-وَّ الشَّمْسَ وَ الْقَمَرَ وَ النُّجُوْمَ مُسَخَّرٰتٍۭ بِاَمْرِهٖؕ-اَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَ الْاَمْرُؕ-تَبٰرَكَ اللّٰهُ رَبُّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(54) اُدْعُوْا رَبَّكُمْ تَضَرُّعًا وَّ خُفْیَةًؕ-اِنَّهٗ لَا یُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِیْنَۚ (55) وَ لَا تُفْسِدُوْا فِی الْاَرْضِ بَعْدَ اِصْلَاحِهَا وَ ادْعُوْهُ خَوْفًا وَّ طَمَعًاؕ-اِنَّ رَحْمَتَ اللّٰهِ قَرِیْبٌ مِّنَ الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ(56)
بیشک تمہارا رب اللہ ہے جس نے آسمان اور زمین چھ دن میں بنائے پھر عرش پر استواء فرمایا جیسا اس کی شان کے لائق ہے، رات دن کو ایک دوسرے سے ڈھانپ دیتا ہے کہ( ایک) دوسرے کے پیچھے جلد جلد چلا آرہا ہے اور اس نے سورج اور چاند اور ستاروں کو بنایا اس حال میں کہ سب اس کے حکم کے پابند ہیں ۔ سن لو! پیدا کرنا اور تمام کاموں میں تصرف کرنا اسی کے لائق ہے۔ اللہ بڑی برکت والا ہے جو سارے جہانوں کا رب ہے۔ اپنے رب سے گڑگڑاتے ہوئے اور آہستہ آواز سے دعا کرو ۔ بیشک وہ حد سے بڑھنے والے کو پسند نہیں فرماتا۔ اور زمین میں اس کی اصلاح کے بعد فساد برپا نہ کرو اوراللہ سے دعا کرو ڈرتے ہوئے اور طمع کرتے ہوئے۔ بیشک اللہ کی رحمت نیک لوگوں کے قریب ہے۔
56 – 27. your Guardian-Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth In six days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of authority): He draweth the night As a veil o’er the Day, Each seeking the other In rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds! 55. call on your Lord with humility and In private: for Allah loveth not those who trespass beyond bounds. 56. do no mischief on the earth, after it hath been set In order, but call on Him with fear and longing (in your hearts): for the Mercy of Allah is (always) near to those who do good.
Surah Al-Israa (chapter 17): verses 110 and 111
قُلِ ادْعُوا اللّٰهَ اَوِ ادْعُوا الرَّحْمٰنَؕ-اَیًّا مَّا تَدْعُوْا فَلَهُ الْاَسْمَآءُ الْحُسْنٰىۚ-وَ لَا تَجْهَرْ بِصَلَاتِكَ وَ لَا تُخَافِتْ بِهَا وَ ابْتَغِ بَیْنَ ذٰلِكَ سَبِیْلًا(110) وَ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِیْ لَمْ یَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَّ لَمْ یَكُنْ لَّهٗ شَرِیْكٌ فِی الْمُلْكِ وَ لَمْ یَكُنْ لَّهٗ وَلِیٌّ مِّنَ الذُّلِّ وَ كَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِیْرًا۠ (111)
تم فرماؤ: اللہ کہہ کر پکارو یا رحمٰن کہہ کر پکارو، تم جو کہہ کر پکارو سب اسی کے اچھے نام ہیں اور اپنی نماز میں نہ آواز زیادہ بلند کرو اور نہ اسے بالکل آہستہ کردواور دونوں کے درمیان کاراستہ تلاش کرو۔ اور تم کہو: سب خوبیاں اللہ کیلئے ہیں جس نے اپنے لیے بچہ اختیار نہ فرمایا اور بادشاہی میں اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں اور کمزوری کی وجہ سے اس کا کوئی مدد گار نہیں اور اس کی اچھی طرح بڑائی بیان کرو۔
110 – 111. say: “Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most beautiful Names. neither speak Thy prayer aloud, nor speak it In a low tone, but seek a Middle course between.” say: “Praise be to Allah, who begets no son, and has no partner In (His) dominion: nor (needs) He any to protect Him from humiliation: yea, magnify Him for His greatness and glory!”
Surah Al-Muminoon (chapter 23): verses 115 to 118
اَفَحَسِبْتُمْ اَنَّمَا خَلَقْنٰكُمْ عَبَثًا وَّ اَنَّكُمْ اِلَیْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُوْنَ(115) فَتَعٰلَى اللّٰهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّۚ-لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ-رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِیْمِ(116) وَ مَنْ یَّدْعُ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَۙ-لَا بُرْهَانَ لَهٗ بِهٖۙ-فَاِنَّمَا حِسَابُهٗ عِنْدَ رَبِّهٖؕ-اِنَّهٗ لَا یُفْلِحُ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ(117) وَ قُلْ رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَ ارْحَمْ وَ اَنْتَ خَیْرُ الرّٰحِمِیْنَ۠ (118)
تو کیا تم یہ سمجھتے ہو کہ ہم نے تمہیں بیکار بنایا اور تم ہماری طرف لوٹائے نہیں جاؤ گے؟ تووہ اللہ بہت بلندی والا ہے جو سچا بادشاہ ہے، اس کے سواکوئی معبود نہیں ، وہ عزت والے عرش کا مالک ہے۔ اور جو اللہ کے ساتھ کسی دوسرے معبود کی عبادت کرے جس کی اس کے پاس کوئی دلیل نہیں تو اس کا حساب اس کے رب کے پاس ہی ہے، بیشک کافرفلاح نہیں پائیں گے۔ اور تم عرض کرو، اے میرے رب! بخش دے اور رحم فرما اور تو سب سے بہتر رحم فرمانے والا ہے۔
115 – 118. So did you think that We had created you in vain (without any purpose) and that you would not return to Us? 116. So Allah, the True Sovereign, is High and Exalted. There is no God but He. He alone is the Lord of the Venerated Throne (i.e., Authority). 117. And anyone who worships another god along with Allah has no proof of this. So he will be accountable for that to his Lord alone. Surely, the disbelievers will not be successful. 118. And submit: ‘O my Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You (alone) are the Best of those who have mercy.’
Surah Al-Saaffaat (chapter 37): verses 1 to 11
وَ الصّٰٓفّٰتِ صَفًّاۙ (1) فَالزّٰجِرٰتِ زَجْرًاۙ (2) فَالتّٰلِیٰتِ ذِكْرًاۙ (3) اِنَّ اِلٰهَكُمْ لَوَاحِدٌﭤ(4) رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ وَ مَا بَیْنَهُمَا وَ رَبُّ الْمَشَارِقِﭤ(5) اِنَّا زَیَّنَّا السَّمَآءَ الدُّنْیَا بِزِیْنَةِ ﹰالْكَوَاكِبِۙ (6) وَ حِفْظًا مِّنْ كُلِّ شَیْطٰنٍ مَّارِدٍۚ (7) لَا یَسَّمَّعُوْنَ اِلَى الْمَلَاِ الْاَعْلٰى وَ یُقْذَفُوْنَ مِنْ كُلِّ جَانِبٍۗۖ (8) دُحُوْرًا وَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَّاصِبٌۙ (9) اِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَةَ فَاَتْبَعَهٗ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ(10) فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ اَهُمْ اَشَدُّ خَلْقًا اَمْ مَّنْ خَلَقْنَاؕ-اِنَّا خَلَقْنٰهُمْ مِّنْ طِیْنٍ لَّازِبٍ(11)
ان کی قسم جو باقاعدہ صفیں باندھے ہوئے ہیں۔ پھر ان کی قسم جو جھڑک کر چلانے والے ہیں۔ پھر قرآن کی تلاوت کرنے والوں کی قسم۔ بیشک تمہارا معبود ضرور ایک ہے۔ آسمانوں اور زمین کا اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے سب کا رب ہے اور مشرقوں کامالک ہے۔ بیشک ہم نے نیچے کے آسمان کوستاروں کے سنگھار سے آراستہ کیا۔ اور ہر سرکش شیطان سے حفاظت کیلئے۔ وہ شیاطین عالمِ بالا کی طرف کان نہیں لگاسکتے اور انہیں ہرجانب سے مارا جاتا ہے۔ (انہیں ) بھگانے کیلئے اور ان کے لیے ہمیشہ کا عذاب ہے۔ مگر جو ایک آدھ بار (کوئی بات) اُچک کر لے چلے تو روشن انگارا اس کے پیچھے لگ جاتا ہے۔ تو ان سے پوچھو،کیا اِن لوگوں کی پیدائش زیادہ مضبوط ہے یا ہماری (دوسری) مخلوق کی۔ بیشک ہم نے انہیں چپکنے والی مٹی سے بنایا۔
1 – 11. by those who range themselves In ranks, 2. and so are strong In repelling (evil), 3. and Thus proclaim the Message (of Allah.! 4. Verily, Verily, your Allah is one!- 5. Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 6. we have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 7. (for beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 8. (so) They should not Strain their ears In the direction of the Exalted assembly but be cast away from every side, 9. Repulsed, for They are under a perpetual penalty, 10. except such As snatch away something by stealth, and They are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 11. just ask their opinion: are They the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings we have created? them have we created out of a sticky clay!
Surah Al-Rehman (chapter 55): verses 33 to 40
یٰمَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَ الْاِنْسِ اِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ اَنْ تَنْفُذُوْا مِنْ اَقْطَارِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ فَانْفُذُوْاؕ-لَا تَنْفُذُوْنَ اِلَّا بِسُلْطٰنٍۚ (33) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(34) یُرْسَلُ عَلَیْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّنْ نَّارٍ ﳔ وَّ نُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنْتَصِرٰنِۚ (35) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(36) فَاِذَا انْشَقَّتِ السَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِۚ (37) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(38) فَیَوْمَىٕذٍ لَّا یُسْــٴَـلُ عَنْ ذَنْۢبِهٖۤ اِنْسٌ وَّ لَا جَآنٌّۚ (39) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(40)
اے جنوں اور انسانوں کے گروہ! اگر تم سے ہوسکے کہ آسمانوں اور زمین کے کناروں سے نکل جاؤ تو نکل جاؤ،تم جہاں نکل کر جاؤ گے (وہاں ) اسی کی سلطنت ہے۔ توتم دونوں اپنے رب کی کون کون سی نعمتوں کو جھٹلاؤ گے؟ تم پر آگ کا بغیر دھویں والا خالص شعلہ اور بغیر شعلے والا کالا دھواں بھیجا جائے گا توتم ایک دوسرے کی مدد نہ کرسکو گے۔ توتم دونوں اپنے رب کی کون کون سی نعمتوں کو جھٹلاؤ گے؟ پھر جب آسمان پھٹ جائے گا تو گلاب کے پھول جیسا (سرخ) ہوجائے گا جیسے سرخ چمڑا۔ توتم دونوں اپنے رب کی کون کون سی نعمتوں کو جھٹلاؤ گے؟ تو اس دن کسی آدمی اور جِن سے اس کے گناہ کے متعلق نہیں پوچھا جائے گا۔ توتم دونوں اپنے رب کی کون کون سی نعمتوں کو جھٹلاؤ گے؟
33 – 40. O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! Not without authority shall ye be able to pass! 34. Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 35. on you will be sent (o ye evil ones twain!) a flame of Fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have: 36. Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 37. When the sky is rent asunder, and it becomes red like ointment: 38. Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 39. On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn As to His sin. 40. Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
Surah Al-Hashr (chapter 59): verses 21 to 24
لَوْ اَنْزَلْنَا هٰذَا الْقُرْاٰنَ عَلٰى جَبَلٍ لَّرَاَیْتَهٗ خَاشِعًا مُّتَصَدِّعًا مِّنْ خَشْیَةِ اللّٰهِؕ-وَ تِلْكَ الْاَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَتَفَكَّرُوْنَ(21) هُوَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِیْ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ-عٰلِمُ الْغَیْبِ وَ الشَّهَادَةِۚ-هُوَ الرَّحْمٰنُ الرَّحِیْمُ(22) هُوَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِیْ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ-اَلْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوْسُ السَّلٰمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَیْمِنُ الْعَزِیْزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُؕ-سُبْحٰنَ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا یُشْرِكُوْنَ(23) هُوَ اللّٰهُ الْخَالِقُ الْبَارِئُ الْمُصَوِّرُ لَهُ الْاَسْمَآءُ الْحُسْنٰىؕ-یُسَبِّحُ لَهٗ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِۚ-وَ هُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الْحَكِیْمُ۠ (24)
اگر ہم یہ قرآن کسی پہاڑ پر اتارتے تو ضرور تم اسے جھکا ہوا، اللہ کے خوف سے پاش پاش دیکھتے اور ہم یہ مثالیں لوگوں کے لیے بیان فرماتے ہیں تاکہ وہ سوچیں ۔ وہی اللہ ہے جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ، ہر غیب اور ظاہر کا جاننے والاہے، وہی نہایت مہربان، بہت رحمت والاہے۔ وہی اللہ ہے جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ،بادشاہ، نہایت پاک ،سلامتی دینے والا، امن بخشنے والا، حفاظت فرمانے والا، بہت عزت والا، بے حد عظمت والا ،اپنی بڑائی بیان فرمانے والا ہے، اللہ ان مشرکوں کے شرک سے پاک ہے۔ وہی اللہ بنانے والا، پیدا کرنے والا، ہر ایک کو صورت دینے والا ہے، سب اچھے نام اسی کے ہیں ۔ آسمانوں اور زمین میں موجود ہر چیز اسی کی پاکی بیان کرتی ہے اور وہی بہت عزت والا،بڑا حکمت والا ہے۔
21 – 24. had we sent down This Qur’an on a mountain, Verily, Thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. such are the similitudes which we propound to men, that They may reflect. Page 8 of 9 22. Allah is He, than whom there is no other god;- who knows (All things) both secret and open; He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 23. Allah is He, than whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the holy one, the source of peace (and Perfection), the guardian of Faith, the Preserver of safety, the Exalted In Might, the irresistible, the Supreme: glory to Allah. (High is He) above the partners They attribute to Him. 24. He is Allah, the creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or colours). to Him belong the Most beautiful names: whatever is In the heavens and on earth, doth declare His praises and glory: and He is the Exalted In Might, the wise
Surah Al-Jinn (chapter 72): verses 1 to 4
قُلْ اُوْحِیَ اِلَیَّ اَنَّهُ اسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ فَقَالُوْۤا اِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْاٰنًا عَجَبًاۙ (1) یَّهْدِیْۤ اِلَى الرُّشْدِ فَاٰمَنَّا بِهٖؕ-وَ لَنْ نُّشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَاۤ اَحَدًاۙ (2) وَّ اَنَّهٗ تَعٰلٰى جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا اتَّخَذَ صَاحِبَةً وَّ لَا وَلَدًاۙ (3) وَّ اَنَّهٗ كَانَ یَقُوْلُ سَفِیْهُنَا عَلَى اللّٰهِ شَطَطًاۙ (4)
اے حبیب!تم فرماؤ، میری طرف وحی کی گئی ہے کہ جنات کے ایک گروہ نے(میری تلاوت کو) غور سے سنا تو انہوں نے کہا:بیشک ہم نے ایک عجیب قرآن سنا۔ جو بھلائی کی طرف رہنمائی کرتا ہے تو ہم اس پر ایمان لائے اور ہم ہرگز کسی کو اپنے رب کا شریک نہ ٹھہرائیں گے۔ اور یہ کہ ہمارے رب کی شان بہت بلند ہے، اس نے کوئی بیوی اوربچہ نہ بنایا۔ اور یہ کہ ہم میں سے کوئی بیوقوف ہی اللہ پر حد سے بڑھ کر بات کہتا تھا۔
1 – 4. say: it has been revealed to me that a company of Jinns listened (to the Qur’an). They said, ‘We have really heard a wonderful Recital!. ‘It gives guidance to the right, and we have believed therein: we shall not join (in worship) any (gods) with Our Lord. ‘And Exalted is the majesty of Our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son. ‘There were some foolish ones among us, who used to utter extravagant lies against Allah.
Surah Al-Kaafiroon (chapter 109): verses 1 to 6
قُلْ یٰۤاَیُّهَا الْكٰفِرُوْنَۙ (1) لَاۤ اَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُوْنَۙ (2) وَ لَاۤ اَنْتُمْ عٰبِدُوْنَ مَاۤ اَعْبُدُۚ (3) وَ لَاۤ اَنَا عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدْتُّمْۙ (4) وَ لَاۤ اَنْتُمْ عٰبِدُوْنَ مَاۤ اَعْبُدُﭤ(5) لَكُمْ دِیْنُكُمْ وَ لِیَ دِیْنِ۠ (6)
تم فرماؤ! اے کافرو!۔ میں ان کی عبادت نہیں کرتا جنہیں تم پوجتے ہو۔ اور تم اس کی عبادت کرنے والے نہیں جس کی میں عبادت کرتا ہوں ۔ اور نہ میں اس کی عبادت کروں گا جسے تم نے پوجا ۔ اور نہ تم اس کی عبادت کرنے والے ہو جس کی میں عبادت کرتا ہوں ۔ تمہارے لئے تمہارا دین ہے اور میرے لئے میرا دین ہے۔
1 – 6. say : O ye that reject Faith! I worship not that which ye worship, nor will ye worship that which I worship. and I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, nor will ye worship that which I worship. to you be your way, and to me mine.
Surah Al-Ikhlas (chapter 112): verses 1 to 4
قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ اَحَدٌۚ (1) اَللّٰهُ الصَّمَدُۚ (2) لَمْ یَلِدْ ﳔ وَ لَمْ یُوْلَدْۙ (3) وَ لَمْ یَكُنْ لَّهٗ كُفُوًا اَحَدٌ۠ (4)
تم فرماؤ: وہ اللہ ایک ہے۔ اللہ بے نیاز ہے۔ نہ اس نے کسی کو جنم دیا اور نہ وہ کسی سے پیدا ہوا۔ اور کوئی اس کے برابر نہیں ۔
1 – 4. say: He is Allah, the one and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; and there is none like unto Him.
Surah Al-Falaq (chapter 113): verses 1 to 5
قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِۙ (1) مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَۙ (2) وَ مِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَۙ (3) وَ مِنْ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِی الْعُقَدِۙ (4) وَ مِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ۠ (5)
تم فرماؤ: میں صبح کے رب کی پناہ لیتا ہوں۔ اس کی تمام مخلوق کے شر سے۔ اورسخت اندھیری رات کے شر سے جب وہ چھاجائے۔ اور ان عورتوں کے شر سے جو گرہوں میں پھونکیں مارتی ہیں ۔ اور حسد والے کے شر سے جب وہ حسد کرے۔
1 – 5. say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the dawn. From the mischief of created things; from the mischief of darkness As it overspreads;. from the mischief of those who practise secret arts;. and from the mischief of the envious one As He practises envy.
Surah Al-Naas (chapter 114): verses 1 to 6
قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِۙ (1) مَلِكِ النَّاسِۙ (2) اِلٰهِ النَّاسِۙ (3) مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ ﳔ الْخَنَّاسِﭪ (4) الَّذِیْ یُوَسْوِسُ فِیْ صُدُوْرِ النَّاسِۙ (5) مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَ النَّاسِ۠ (6)
تم کہو: میں تمام لوگوں کے رب کی پناہ لیتا ہوں ۔ تمام لوگوں کا بادشاہ ۔ تمام لوگوں کا معبود ۔ باربار وسوسے ڈالنے والے، چھپ جانے والے کے شر سے(پناہ لیتا ہوں)۔ وہ جو لوگوں کے دلوں میں وسوسے ڈالتا ہے۔ جنوں اورانسانوں میں سے۔
1 – 6. say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of mankind, the king (or Ruler) of mankind, the Allah (for judge) of mankind, from the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after His whisper), (the same) who whispers into the hearts of mankind, among Jinns and among men.
